How do I search for a word?
Simply tap the search bar at the top of the screen and begin typing. Results will appear as you type. Tap any word to view its full definition.
What is included with the premium subscription?
Premium unlocks full access to synonyms and antonyms for every word, plus unlimited AI-generated example sentences showing how words were used in historical context. Free users can preview 2 synonyms and 1 antonym per word, with 5 AI generations per month.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
Open the app and go to Settings. Tap "Restore Purchases" and sign in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. Your subscription will be restored automatically.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes! The complete dictionary is stored on your device. You can look up any word without an internet connection. AI-generated examples require an internet connection.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions on your device, then select Webster's 1828 Dictionary to manage or cancel.
